On Tuesday I delivered a two hour workshop on behalf of GAVCA on how to run a social media campaign. The aim was to help social media users put together a campaign that would help to make their use of these tools more effective.

We looked at what social media could achieve and the social media options out there. We then looked at how to put together a campaign as well as how to measure its success and how to get more out of your campaigns over time. We concluded by looking at campaigning websites such as 38 Degrees and Change.org.

I really enjoyed the session – it was a pleasure to be working with such a great group of people. And the good news is, if the feedback forms are anything to go by, they seemed to enjoy it too!
